Who is Brandon?

Brandon Uranowitz is fresh off his acclaimed performance in the Broadway revival of FALSETTOS, for which he received his second Tony nomination. Previously, he was Tony-nominated for the role of Adam Hochberg in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, starring in the show’s Paris premiere in 2014 and on Broadway in 2015-16. He studied at NYU and then joined the national tour of RENT. As Mendel in FALSETTOS, he was called ``warmly funny and convincingly neurotic`` by the New York Times and ``wholly endearing`` by Entertainment Weekly.

Brandon made his Broadway debut in 2011 in BABY, IT'S YOU and for his portrayal of Arnold Beckoff in Harvey Fierstein's TORCH SONG TRILOGY directed by Michael Kahn, Brandon was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Play. Other theatre credits: BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS/BROADWAY BOUND (The Old Globe), EVITA (Paper Mill Playhouse), and TWELFTH NIGHT (Off-Broadway, The Kirk Theatre). This year, he’ll star again on Broadway in the Hal Prince musical, PRINCE OF BROADWAY.
