As "Mama Morton" , Carol recently starred on Broadway in CHICAGO, before joining The National Tour. In summer 2005, Carol taunted Ralph Kramden as his mother-in-law in the Paramount film The Honeymooners.

In the past few years, Carol has starred as "Stella Deems" in the Tony Nominated Broadway Revival of Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES and as “Jeanette” in the National Company of THE FULL MONTY. Carol appeared in concert at the famed White Barn Theatre and at a Carnegie Hall performance honoring President Bill Clinton, with Chevy Chase, Michael Feinstein and Marvin Hamlisch. In addition, she has sung at The Eisenhower Tribute to Tom Brokaw in Washington DC.

Her concerts and performances span the globe - from London to Tokyo, from Las Vegas to Honolulu. In New York, she has appeared at Rainbow and Stars, Michael's Pub, Town Hall and Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra and had a celebrated four week run at Arci's Place, garnering glowing reviews for her nightclub act.. In addition, Carol performed a sold out one woman concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Her impressive list of roles on Broadway include SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ, the Tommy Tune directed STEPPIN' OUT, Neil Simon's THE GOODBYE GIRL and BIG RIVER. As a founding member of Tony Randall's National Actor's Theatre, Carol appeared in their first two productions. She has starred Off-Broadway in ONE MO' TIME, TAKING MY TURN and FIRST LADY SUITE at the Public Theatre.

Carol has had command performances for England's Princess Margaret and Prince Andrew, starred in the London production of ONE MO' TIME and performed the title role in MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM at the Royal National Theatre. She was nominated for an Olivier Award for her performance in the long running London production of BLUES IN THE NIGHT, recreating her role on a London television special.

Regionally, Carol appeared in The Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of HOT L BALTIMORE (directed by award winning director Joe Montello) as well as many other shows.

Film and television include NIGHT AND THE CITY opposite Robert DeNiro, appeared (singing) in Woody Allen's film SWEET AND LOWDOWN, STEPPIN' OUT with Liza Minnelli, LAW AND ORDER, THIRD WATCH, the WB's THE PARENTHOOD and guest-starred as a lead character taken to court on ABC's THE PRACTICE, singing “One Moment In Time” in the courtroom during the 2002 fall season.
