Biography

Charles holds the Billboard magazine record for Music Arranger with more Top 10 hits than anyone in the history of pop music. Calello performs with a studio size orchestra that mingles highlights of his career with behind the scenes stories about the recordings as you experience his vast legacy of Top 10 hits.

Charles began as a Four Season- and became their main arranger- working side by side with Frankie Valli. His arrangements were the perfect match for Valli and the rest of the band, helping to create many hit songs… from Dawn and Rag Doll to other classic Frankie Valli hits.

In addition to Valli and The Four Seasons, Charles has worked with some of the biggest names in the business - from Sinatra to Streisand, Glen Campbell to Neil Diamond. In between, his arrangements can be heard from such artists as, Englebert Humperdinck, Juice Newton, Lou Christie, Barry Manilow, Shirley Ellis, Kenny Nolan, Bobby Vinton, The Toys, Odyssey, Freddy Cannon and many more.

In his concert, BEHIND THE MUSIC, the audiences are captivated by his incredible talent and the people he has recorded with. Not to mention, the songs are all hits that audiences recognize instantly.
