One of the most powerful and versatile voices in musical theatre, Mandy Gonzales is now starring in the hit musical phenomenon, HAMILTON as Angelica Schuyler. She is best known for playing the role of Nina Rosario in the Tony Award winning musical In The Heights, a role she created Off ­Broadway at 37 Arts (Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble).

Mandy was featured in the televised documentary In The Heights: Chasing Broadway Dreams which follows the shows journey to Broadway and beyond.

This season, Mandy sold out two performances of her “Raise The Roof” concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below, one Live at Joes Pub concert and will make her Cafe Carlyle debut for two weeks in October in a new concert “Fearless.” In summer 2017, she recorded her debut CD.

She has appeared as Princess Amneris in the Elton John and Tim Rice musical Aida. She also starred in the Broadway show Lennon where she portrayed John Lennon as well as other characters.

Mandy made her Broadway debut in Jim Steinman’s Dance of the Vampires starring opposite Michael Crawford. Mandy was last seen starring as Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked (Broadway.com award for Best Replacement).

Mandy received an OBIE Award for her performance in the Off­Broadway production of Eli’s Comin’ directed by Diane Paulus, the musical based on the music and lyrics of singer­ songwriter Laura Nyro.

She performs in concerts nationwide and abroad to high acclaim.

Her recordings include: In The Heights (Original Broadway Cast Album), Kerrigan­ Lowdermilk Live, The Man Who would be King, and Disney’s Mulan 2 as the singing voice of Mei.

Some film and television credits include Man on a Ledge, Over/Under, After, One Night Stand: Creating a Play in a Day, In The Heights: Chasing Broadway Dreams, Across the Universe, In God’s Hands, The Good Wife, Third Watch, Guiding Light and One Life to Live.

Most recently, you can find her working at The White House on the CBS breakout hit Madame Secretary and pitched on ABC's Quantico.

In short, MandyGonzalez has astonished both Broadway and television audiences along the way. Now she adds Chanteuse to her resume. In her new show expect hit tunes like «Total Eclipse of the Heart,» «Breathe» (and, yes, «Defying Gravity») as well as songs from Elvis to Aretha.
